10 charge cycles sounds ALOT especially for a new unit. I wouldn't sweat too much as long as the battery is performing correctly.
As for the the HD load cycles, this all depends on how you've been using your MBP. I'm no expert on this but again I wouldn't sweat too much unless things aren't performing correctly. Paranoid or not, you should always have a backup strategy coz you never know come the time.
