You can return most things you buy from the physical Apple Store under ANY term. Well, I haven't tried removing the internals and returning it. It's a "no questions asked" return policy. Usually it's for 14 calendar days.

If it's bought online, it has to be returned through a courier which Apple arranges and pays for.

Wait....they do? I've returned many-a-macs and I think I've paid for shipping every time.

I am home now and I have a chance to get on this thing and put it to some serious use... I am hoping it is just a Chrome issue. I am going to NOT use Chrome tonight and see if that will help. If it freezes up NOT using Chrome, I am going to explore the option of returning and re-buying.

Update

Yesterday I used the computer from a full charge down to where it popped up to say it was running on reserve power (however many hours that was). It ran flawlessly...only difference was I did NOT use Chrome at all. Major props to the user who suggested Chrome might be the issue, I think they hit the nail on the head, thanks! :D
