New Macbook Pro Super laggy on game

Hey all, I just purchased a new 15 inch Macbook pro and have noticed when playing WoW (World of Warcraft) I will get sudden frequent lag spikes which last for about 5 seconds each time before going back to normal 60 fps and then repeating that the whole time playing the game...

My computer has the following specs:

Memory: 32 GB ram
CPU: i7
Storage: 1TB
Graphics: Radeon Pro 560X 4096 MB & Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

Any ideas on how to fix this? or what could be causing this?

Yes, this was happening to all of us until the Apples update fix...probably you should update it

Which update fix? I updated earlier today to 10.13.6

Did you get it? its a firmware that address the throttling

Would it have downloaded with the mac 10.13.6 update i did through the about this mac tab?
