I am having a similar issue I think.

I was able to add it once, but then it disappeared. Now it says "This Accessory Is Already Added" "This MagSafe accessory is already added to Find My."

Edit: Nevermind, I'm dumb. It was there. It's listed as a Device rather than an Item.

I am having that same issue with my 13 pro max I put the wallet it dos the animation but it doesn’t let me add it to my find my. I don’t get it!

Same issue here my 13PM wont recognise the wallet except in my case there’s no animation at all, I’m running the 15.1 beta but that doesn’t seem to be the problem as my 12PM on 15.1 recognises without an issue?!?

I had the issue of my iPhone 13 Pro not seeing the wallet (I.e. acting as if it was an old non-find my wallet).

A restore did not fix it, so I had to resort to a DFU restore. Then I was finally able to add it.

I got the new wallet but I don’t even get the animation when I attach it. I get the sound but not the animation. Does anyone have a fix?

I have the same issue. The wallet works fine with “Find My” on my iPhone 12 Pro Max, and also works fine on my wife’s iPhone 13 Pro Max, but it just doesn’t work on my iPhone 13 Pro Max

I still have the issue even with a replaced wallet rep says it might be the phone and he recommends a retail swap but they are OOS
I think your right about the phone though. I got an idea to try to read the NFC tag on my Apple Card envelope since the wallet uses NFC for find my and the envelope doesn’t do anything.

Update: talked to support again and let them know this issue wasn't just related to the wallet and was affecting all NFC devices they ran diagnostics and all came back normal so likely an iOS 15 issue.

yea I did a diagnostics via chat right now and they found nothing everything came back normal.

I did try install a fresh version of IOS 15 via my macOS Big Sur but I keep getting "the iPhone could not be restored an unknown error occurred (1)" and I even downloaded IOS from IPSW.ME so idk what's going on

Redownload the IPSW I've had it corrupt time to time and do that.

I saw 1 person say they did a restore using DFU mode and their wallet worked after that. Let me know if a reinstall does anything.
I tried it one more time and it worked! there was a delay of 10 seconds until it recognized the wallet and I was able to link it to my account wow finally! I will let you know if I have any more issues but I think its resolved!!!

Did you restore or it just randomly worked? I saw it can take up to 15 seconds but I've tried a few times and nothing.

I had to restore it, before it would show up and I couldn't connect to it. I did an "iTunes" restore. it took like 10 seconds to show up when the phone turned back on

Do not attempt DFU restore on a 13 series iPhone running iOS beta 15.1 !!!!

I’ve tried the suggestion earlier on in this thread to put the phone in DFU mode and restore through finder and it failed pretty badly, the phones kicked into restore but won‘t exit restore no matter what I’ve tried.

Can’t even tell it to restore from a iPhone 13 Pro Max IPSW of iOS 15 just comes up with the error shown a couple of posts up and of course for some reason Apple haven’t released an IPSW file for the 13 series iPhones (wonder if the reason they haven’t released these but have for older models is due to a specific issue with 15.1 & 13 series iPhones 🤔) tried everything including downloading free software that should kick the iPhone out of recovery mode but nothings worked.

The 2 errors I’ve heard of in my searching is that iOS software has corrupted or that the hardwares got a fault, doubt it’s the latter as I’ve reset the phone 3 times to see if I could get the wallet to work before the DFU suggestion came up.

it probably needs the IPSW for 15.1 before it can restore through Finder.

Also know it’s not the wallet as it pairs with my 12 Pro Max no problem.

As there’s no 15.1 IPSW and my phones effectively bricked its off to the Apple store on Monday to see if they can do anything.

And before someone says the same ol mantra of said that’s the chance you take with beta’s that’s true but Apple should have released the IPSW!
