Thanks, I think I will get one.

Incase deluxe sleeve
apple remote

HDMI Adaptor

I will also need an external HDD to transfer my files over from my PC. I thought this could be a good opportunity to upgrade the HDD in my MBP?

Purchased today.

Very happy with my macbook experience so far!

Was very tempted to get the wireless keyboard but just couldnt justify it as im yet to use it as a desktop.

ACD, wireless keyboard and mouse, your choice of external speakers (I'm a Bose fan), minidisplay adapter to hdmi for your tv, apple tv, a sleeve, and possibly an ipad

Any recommendations for a dock for my iphone 4 to go with my macbook?

Dont really want to spend more than $100/£70. Ive posted this in the iphone section too but no joy yet.

Thanks a lot for the advice, Macbook arrived today, still getting used to the trckpad! Arethe remotes $19 from apple?

Yup, you can pick one up at any Apple store for $19.

Also what would you recomend for an external HD at a reasonable price as I definitely want one of these.

After reading several reviews online, I settled for a Hitachi Travelstar 7k500 (500GB @ 7200RPM). Works great, it's fast and makes no noise or vibrations, but it's a bit of a crap shoot with any HDD, you'll always find someone whose HDD failed, no matter which model. Check out some reviews and buy the one you like, shop at Amazon or newegg.com for good prices and peace of mind. Start with how much memory you want/need. You can pick up a 500GB 7200RPM HDD under $100 online.

Then you have two options: use the original HDD as a backup (external) HDD, which should last you a while (space wise). All you need here is buy an external HDD enclosure. Most USB 2.0 enclosures sell for under ~$25 (no need for firewire unless you work off your external HDD daily with large files). USB 2.0 is good for personal backups, update once or twice per week. This should be enough to get you started. Upgrade once your data becomes larger than the HDD capacity. By then you'll have more options and cheaper prices out on the market.

Or, you can just buy an external HDD (and keep the original as a spare HDD part, or sell it off to recoup some $$). Here you have two options as well: buy a "full product", i.e. external HDD fully assembled single product, or build your own (buy any HDD you like and any enclosure to house it).

Exactly, Saved almost £400 buying my macbook here!

Christmas come early for you this year :D

Very good choice on the incase.

Whenever I take it out of the house I take it in that, it keeps it in pristine shape.

I got the Remote, great little thing to have, quite cheap too for apple in my opinion.

I got a WD my passport 500GB HD just as a back up, will hardly use it apart from a back up every now and then so that will do for now

Very good choice on the incase.

Yea its really nice, out of stock on the incase and apple website too, had them at my local apple store thankfully.

Just need a decent speaker dock for my iphone now.
