New MBP running Parallels = VERY slow

Got the new refresh of the 15" mbp, prior to that was using the mid 2010 model and running parallels was fine, on the new mbp it's seriously lagging and almost 'hanging' for minutes at a time when you try and perform one action, simple things like, clicking on something. Took 4 minutes just to get on to the forum to post this...

Any suggestions? 🙁

How much resources are you dedicating per OS? You have to balance things out or the entire setup will hang or lag.

I had it split exactly half way. 2 cores 2gb ram. It's painstakingly annoying...

There is your problem. The guest OS has to have lower resources than the Host OS. Otherwise, you get your problem.
