Just kidding, FW800 ain't goin nowhere unless they feel like going backward-compatible FW3200. 
i really hope apple keeps the MBA far away in mind when deciding how to update the MBP. the MBP could only be brought down by adapting ideas from the MBA.

1 of my 2 biggest obsessive refreshes have been satisfied..
1) coachella 2008 finally posted lineup (portishead!)
2)MBP! still waiting. maybe it's wrong to hinge my creative, musical output on the release of the MBP. but it would sure increase the trackcount in ableton live...
c'mon apple. somewhere in cupertino, someone steeples their fingers.
meanwhile it's raining in los angeles...

Yeah, I'm just wondering why all the stores aren't down. Normally when there's a product update, all stores go down together

Maybe my wait has finally paid off and I can order my new computer before going back to uni? Man, I hope so!
refurb updates are usually around 3AM, so it depends where you are I guess. This would tie in with the US store but we'll see if the UK store goes down at 1PM.
i can assure you apple is going to be teasing with us..
