New MBP's available in anodized colors?

Seems it's something that if the user really wants, they can get it custom done at their own leisure.

Yeah they can, but there are risks and costs, where as if apple provided an option, that risk would be mitigated and hopefully the cost less then what colorware charges.

I've seen some of the work that colorware does and its quite striking. I'd love to see a black MBP but as I mentioned apple has moved away from color especially in their pro line up

I agree! A black MBP would be a sexy machine! Hopefully this "next level" of apple with produce some machines with color.

I like the second pic, am hoping Apple really do release a black topped MBP some time. First pic is a colorware job..

I would by a black Pro in a hot minute if they did. I also think that it would expand sales of all of there laptops. I hope they do more and more people have been buying white Macbooks... Im tired of seeing them everywhere let alone my dad's every day.

yeah, i wish they would offer this. colorware products look amazing, but after reading through this thread (particularly this post) i think i would rather get the job done officially by apple.




they should also let us customize our OS X colors! i am sick of having only two theme choices: aqua or graphite. i want red or orange or green scrollbars!
