Is this really worth using right now with these listed problems?

There are a number of things that do not work in this version including, but not limited to:

You cannot print
PDF export does not properly work as thetext won't show on the page right
Starting OpenOffice.org from a shared folder does not work
Copy and paste does not fully work
OpenOffice.org will crash after quitting
Some text is not drawn in places like Impress
Impress will not recognise multiple monitors

I can understand for development purposes, but is it particle for a person just looking for word processing?

Once again...

Doesn't seem to understand what developers mean when they call a release an "Alpha?" ;)

Alpha releases are by definition for testing and validation purposes. They're not meant for end-users.

We're talking about this because it's an important development. People are interested in trying it to see, generate buzz, and provide feedback. No one is telling you to go use this today.

NeoOffice is looking really nice, compared to the frankly fugly OpenOffice icons. Hopefully they'll change the icons, or I'll have to do it manually (and doing this every update, which will likely be often, will be annoying)

base ond OOo's website I am still unclear on one thing that is important to me as a GIS analyst. Does OOo (X11, and Aqua versions) include Draw, Base, and Math? I went to the features page of OOo from the Aqua port and it has all those listed, but it does not specify which versions have all the products.

I ask this because to the best of my knowledge Neo office does not have Draw, Base, and Math.

Thanks.

I have NeoOffice installed and it's got spreadsheet, drawing and database modules, as well as word processor and presentation.
