Since the WSJ predicts two, I would expect a summer release (maybe a 5S XL?) and a fl release of the 6.
Call it was you will, but factually, the last two iPhones have come in September. Ahead of the autumn equinox, the first day of fall. Which puts the launch during summer.
That will be nice, I almost got a Samsung Note III this past year because I wanted a larger phone but I chose to stay on iOS and my iPhone 5
I definitely understand and agree with the actual definitions. What I'm saying is that in various parts of the world, when people in personal conversations say something general like "I'm planning a vacation next summer" or something like that, they often mean a general period of June, July, and August (often September isn't really included in what they are trying to convey by that).Sept definitely still summer. 'socially' it's still short sleeve warm weather.
First weekend of Oct 131marathon here kicks of the migration from the big summer cycling events to the fall running season events.
Also for skiing, winter solstice kicks off winter, coincides when the lift tickets hike in price for the first day of winter.
Society has followed the sky for seasons for generations.
To me a larger screen will be Apple iPhone Heaven.![]()
Given how well the 5s is selling, it seems that they'd want to milk this for as long as they can. Unless of course they want to steal a little bit of thunder from the impending S5 release this spring. I'd be more inclined to think the September/October time frame.
Here's what I think.
Summer: June-August
Fall: September-November
Winter: December-February
Spring: March-May
You are really being pedantic here. Probably just to prove a point.
No one calls mid September summer despite the autumn Equinox.
No one calls mid-June spring despite the Summer Solstice.
