Strange. That color is the same as THE BLOOD POURING FROM MY BLEEDING EYEYS!

I just hope the white balance was off on the crappy pic.

I'm an iPhone fan but damn...that looks ugly as ****. If all they're doing is updating the internals...and making a cheap plastic one...iPhone is really lagging behind android phones...basically being flushed down the toilet at this point. The only smart phones I've ever had are iPhones...and it's now pretty tempting to get a droid and not look back.

Wake up! Wake up!! I think you were dream posting! Trust me, no Android user is lusting after the new "S" or "C". If anyone wanted an iOS phone, they'd have gotten it by now. These new models aren't anything to jump ship for.

Wake up! Wake up!
Welcome to the real world where expensive Android handsets KICK ASS!! But, sadly... cheap Android handsets suck ass. Those that buy by price used to have this choice: ****** new Android or REALLY old Apple.. Now they have: ****** new Android or BRAND NEW plastic iPhone. If you don't think this phone will be better than NOT a flagship Android, but a bargain Android.... I'm sorry I can't help you.

That's just the iPhone 5C not the 5S you know that right?

Do all you people crying fake have any clue as to what it would take to fake a photo like the one in OP?

This is not some blurry pic of a single device laying on a table without packaging, posted months before launch. It's a pile of identical phones in packages, posted days before the actual launch, when the phones are ready to ship.

Let's hear from you naysayers exactly how you think this photo came to be. One phone, cloned in perspective? A stack of iPod touches, each colorized, with an iPhone home screen pasted on in perfect perspective? A 3D render made from scratch? A painting?

And while you're telling us how it was made, please also give an estimated length of time for creation of this single random photo, and your estimate as to the reasoning behind it or benefit someone might receive from spending what would undoubtedly be at least several hours to create it.

Please, since you're so much wiser than those of us who think the photo has no reason to be anything but real, educate us on how it was made so we can spot fakes in the future.

I'm pretty sure if you actually think for about, oh, 4 seconds, before typing FAKE, you'll quickly come to see it's not.

If you increase the brightness you can see the home buttons better. I don't think it's flat, looks kind of the same. Idk :p

Lol, NOBODY... & I do mean NOBODY has ever claimed or thought that the C series iPhone was going to have a fingerprint scanner. Wtf are you talking about??

O yeah? Tell that to my friend's who won't spend more then £300 on a smartphone and the only reason they go Android is because they don't want to pay over £500 for the iPhone and as you may be aware Android smartphones are as cheap as £50.

I didn't say it was going to have a fingerprint scanner either. I was just simply increasing the brightness to show the home button better. Just to see if the logo was different and if it was flat. They could've changed the home button to a flat design without including a fingerprint scanner. So how about you back off and chill.

This is a wallpaper indicating the color of the 5C in the box. The background will be the same as iOS 7 default when turned on.

Someone said earlier in the thread that the Home button looked flatter, s/he was just saying that it wasn't the case.

Oh well, I guess the fact that it's in print means those icons aren't going to change :p

Yeah they look pink to me too

The latest iOS 7 Updates have the boot up screen background take on the color of the device in certain cases, I could see the wallpaper being set with the device color like on the iPod Nanos they released last year.

Fake

Having a solid pink background doesn't show off the iOS 7's parallax feature at all and that's a big thing they talked about at WWDC... these look like knock-offs to me, trying to copy the style of the iPod nano.

iOS7

It's interesting to note that if these images are indeed real or even slightly real, it's a safe bet that the new phones, 5C/5S, will ship with the new op. system on September 10 / 20.:apple:

I guess this might've been known anyway but it's always nice to SEE it.

Good stuff - can't wait for it, personally.

Maybe it's a US thing. My iPhone 5 came with the SIM removal tool.

In the US the only iPhones that still come with them are the factory unlocked ones bought directly from Apple. None of the ones sold by carriers come with them since the iPhone 4 (3GS was the last one). Likely because in the US switching sims and moving between carriers is uncommon due most phones sold here being locked to one of the Big 4 carriers.

Hmm, all I see is the 5c, what if apple is only releasing a cheaper version and they deem the 5 still adequate ?

Photoshop.

When did Apple announce a price on a phone, that as of right now, doesn't exist?

People assume what Apple will do in the future all the time. Some get it right, some get it wrong. Some even mistakenly claim their rumours / guesses for facts. But that's just part of life if you're interested in the Apple rumour trail. And us smart people can differentiate the genuine rumours from the crap the analysts mistakenly call fact.

Welcome to the real world where expensive Android handsets KICK ASS!!
If they were that good they'd have 95%+ of the $300 or more outright price phone market. But they do not. And for a good reason too. They are not so much better then the iPhone as you claim.

And I will agree and say outright prices for iPhones are hideously expensive. I really hope the 5C puts a dent in this.

I want to see:

1. A cheaper outright iPhone 5C
2. High margins for the iPhone 5C for Apple
3. Decent hardware for the iPhone 5C so it won't be obseleted by newer iOS versions anytime soon.
4. A good overall experience and quality feel for the iPhone 5C.
5. Apple somehow showing us that this new iPhone 5C is not repeating the same Apple of the 90's releasing too many product lines mistake.
