I think this latest one looks good... Wall E looks like he has more personality than the Incredibles or any of the Cars...

I'll always give Pixar the benefit of the doubt...until they give us a real clunker. I think the title is lame, but the premise has promise.

They did. It was called "Cars".

This look FAR better than Cars did when the trailer was first released. It wasn't even good after I watched the entire film. Horrible plot, boring, and...did I mention the horrible plot?

What do you mean? It was a great re-make of Doc Hollywood! :D :) :D :)

Or any countless number of movies. It even has a bit of Groundhog Day in it.

Toy story 3 is meant to be coming out soon, well 2010

THIS is the Disney I've learned to accept. They can't come up with any more good ideas, so why not try and bank on sequels to movies that will never live up to the originals?

ie - Bambi 2, Lion King 2, Cinderella 2/3, etc.

If you can't come up with something good, just put a name on a movie with a bigger number, and hope the name will carry it..

Violetgirl: I am a font designer and I am working on a WALL•E style font. I spent all this weekend working on it. I have all the lettering done and it should be ready by the end of this week. The font will contain all the numerals, puncutation, international characters and lots of symbols and stuff. It looks really cool. If you'd like more information about it, let me know.

daveyo,

I have been looking for the font that was used for Wall-E, so I would love to see what work you have done with this font. I, too, am a professional designer - so let me know if you need any help with it!

Hey there, graphicguru. I've finished the 1.0 version of the font today. I enjoy collaborating with other designers, so please contact me at my email address and we work something out.

The Wall-E font is called GALAX-E and you can check it out at:

A Stu-pid Rip-off

GALAX-E is not the font that was used in the movie!
The real font is called Gunship. Google it. Go ahead, scream in joy!
:D

Did anyone buy this in Blueray?

It's one of the only movies that makes me wish i had a blueray player and HD Tely to watch it on. It seems like it would be amazing.

I bought Wall-E the day it came out at Fry's. I actually got off work a little early to make sure I picked it up on BR for $25 at Fry's.

I enjoy the cute romance vibe...

Just watched it tonight not bad pretty cute ( am I at 29 male allowed to say that ) hahhah

Geek Note : Did anyone happen to hear Walle making the Mac bootup sound 2 times ?

I got the Blu-ray set that included the digital copy--that version is surprisingly hard to find around here and I had to order it from Amazon. Sold out at Best Buy, Circuit City and Target. Plenty of plain blu-ray versions and DVD's though.

I quickly lost interest but kept watching and it got better. I am curious if little kids found it as entertaining as say toy story or bugs life where there is action from the get go.

There is not a Pixar movie I haven't liked. With two grandchildren under 5 we watch a lot of them and collect them all. If an adult can stand to watch a movie over and over and the grandchildren like it, then it is a good movie. :)
