Okay. Here are a couple that I took with my iPad. Resolution is not so great. I'm traveling to Japan, so I don't have a digital camera with me.
AirJacket holds by two side pieces that go over the chamfered edges. Interesting how my Mac doesn't know what "chamfered" is.
Looks like there is some extra room around the lightning connector. Maybe to allow for the lightning to micro USB?

How come there is a notch near the headphone jack? It looks that it was chipped off, kinda weird if this was intended on the design of the case.
Definitely liking how the matte black matches the phone so well.
It's possible that the break/notching the headphone jack is to allow for easier fitting and removal (ie to allow the case more flex). If the notch wasn't there, the bridging section would be very thin and highly susceptible to breaking under tension due to fitting and removal.
I remember looking at the page description that the notch would accommodate different types of headphone jacks.
Probably to fit larger headphone jacks.
My question from the last page went unanswered so thought I'd post it again for (hopefully) everyone's benefit.
How easy/difficult is it to take the case on and off? I saw that the Japanese site had pictures on how to put the case on and just wanted to know if there's a chance of scuffing the phone while working with the case.
Thanks for sharing c2c.
Do the cases mic and speaker holes line up perfectly with the phones?
Hi c2c ... are you able to estimate the thickness of this cover ?
In the pics it looks somewhat thicker than the Desmay or the Pinlo for example.
I appreciate that they are made from different kinds of plastic (the Power support is polycarbonate I believe) but I just cant find any specs anywhere.
Lining up some paper around the headphone opening and measuring that thickness, it looks close to 1mm. I don't have a ruler that measures less than that. Looks definitely thicker than Desmay and Pinlo.
Yes they do line up perfectly.
Great.
So does this polycarbonate case have the "rubberized" soft touch type finish to it?
What are your thoughts on the case so far?
Great.

Yes it does have a "rubberized" soft touch finish to it. I actually prefer that because I like to lean my iPhone on something while on a desk so I can use it as a clock. Without the soft touch, it would just slip down.
So far, I like the case and the feel of the soft rubbery touch. The only issues I have is with the headphone port. There seems to be some piece that wasn't shaved down right so it's a little sharp. I may take a hobby knife and sand paper to it to smooth it out.
Also, I notice there's a slight flex to the case, but only once in a while. It's hard to explain, but I occasionally pick up the phone and feel a little give. I flip the phone around in my hand and the give goes away and I can't find it again.
Buttons are surprisingly easy to push I thought since they are slightly recessed, that I would have to use a finger nail to push them and flip them, but it's been easy enough to just use the flat of my finger.
This is actually my 3rd iPhone 5. The first 2 had defects. The last one I returned had somehow gotten a small chip on the chamfered edge. I'm really careful with my phone so I don't know how I chipped it. You could feel the chip, but the shiny aluminum under the chip was pretty obvious. That's what convinced me to get a case to protect that from happening again. I like the lightness of this phone and I didn't want to weigh it down by overprotecting the phone. So far, this has been the ideal case for keeping it light, unobtrusive, yet protected from scuffs and chips.
Can't wait for this to be in wide availability.
Question. Why did you go for the Rubber Black instead of the Smoked clear case? Texture differences (rubbery grippy texture vs otherwise?)
Because online, the matte black looked the best match with a black phone. I like slight rubbery feel as well, as long as it easily slides in and out of my pocket. Then, I like the slight rubbery feel when putting the phone on a desk so it doesn't slide all over the place. It's really just personal preference and I like this one the best.
I'm guessing the same thing. It came like that and it does feel a little strange sometimes. My coworker bought the clear and it's smoother.
Oh, and no watermarking on the back like I saw in the videos for the old clear Air Jacket. I'm guessing with the matte back in the middle, the issue doesn't happen and it just looks like a clear, smooth shell.

Well that was harder than I thought it would be. After some careful finagling, I got it off. It may scuff a little bit, but I can't tell as it looks chamfered to me.
Any chance you could attach more photos of your case? How is your coworker finding the clear version? Any chance you could get some photos of that one?
Thanks
