They continue to add more storage to the PS3, but never a price cut.
If they price-cut the 120GB Slim I might actually buy one ... just won an Amazon card that would cover half of it ... would be a nice DVD/BluRay player for the living room most of the time ...

And no PSP news, did they even show any new games for it? Have they abandoned it?

I think I've been clear that in my opinion they more or less abandoned it the day they released the PS3 :(

In the US we get a new ad where a clueless kid with an iPhone 4 is shown with a simul-screen showing something that looks like it as an image from an Apple ][GS, and then a supposedly street-wise PSP kid saying the PSP is for 'grown-up games'. Sony is so insecure about the PSP that they wouldn't dare show a head-to-head of real graphics!

But wait ... that isn't the good part! The big push is $9.99 games for the PSP! The ad shows three games: Twisted Metal, Buzz Master Quiz, and Hot Shots Golf. Average 'metascore' ~75, average age ~4 years. Yay!

If that is Sony's idea of promoting the PSP they obviously HAVE abandoned it ... no, wait, EVERY PSP ad campaign has been equally lame!

That sounds surprising to me. I have never played the 360 version of Bioshock, but from what I have read, they even improved the graphics/effects a little for the PS3 version that came out later?
I don't know any specifics of improved graphics or not. I'm just going by what I personally noticed when I played the PS3 version a little. I played the 360 version A LOT. I played through the game probably 3 or 4 times by the time I tried the PS3 version, so it was a game I was very familiar with.

The one things that I did notice a lot of on the PS3 version, even more so than the 360 version, was the texture loading. Some Unreal Engine games, like BioShock, Gears of War and Borderlands, do this thing were the textures will gradually increase in clarity, the closer you get to the object. You can often times see this when you first load a level. There will be a wall, or a pillar, or whatever in front of you, and slowly, in stages, the full texture will gradually load in. But sometimes they don't load at al, and you have this object with weird blurry textures, even though you are standing right next to it. This happens a lot in Gears 1 & 2, and I noticed it a decent amount on BioShock 1 & 2. But, when I played BioShock 1 on the PS3, it seemed that this happened more frequently than it did on 360, both the slow loading and not loading at all.

That could be related to the texture thing you mentioned, with the PS3 using both higher resolution and standard textures. I don't know. But if there is one consolation to that, even though Mass Effect uses UE3, I never noticed this problem at all while playing. It seems to use a completely different texture system. So again, this game might run just perfect on the PS3. We will have to see in a few months.
