I remember when PC Windows made fun of Mac "inferior specs". I think I can live with the 4.7" screen size since the iPhone has the best hardware specs in the market.

I love my iPhone and iPad and have no intension to move to their Android counterparts but...

"Lol, no."

Ps, don't embarrass yourself by saying 64bit.. 1gig of ram isn't enough to utilise it.. we all know that...

64bit is quite a bit more than just utilizing RAM.

Don't embarrass yourself by thinking and saying that 64-bit only benefit works with more RAM. There is a huge benefit to the 64-bit on a mobile platform. And the day after Apple announces 64-bit Samsung's reply was "us to me to" give me a break, Samsung executives weren't even smart enough to know that android cannot run on 64-bit in it's current state.

True, but even with a 32 bit chip only having a gig of RAM is just sad.

Whether or not the iOS needs it or not is moot. It's like having an iPhone model with 8GBs of memory.

Not every rebuttal needs to be a stab at Samsung.

Again, 64 bit processes DO need more RAM, we've known this for about a decade now.

Also, on one hand fanbois want to bash non-iPhone users because we tout specs. Then Apple pushes processor speeds and all of a sudden it's okay?

That goalpost has been moved so much that it's not even in the field anymore.

How does one hold the phone in one hand and get their thumb to reach down to the home button

First they have to realize that not everyone has that problem.

Second, that not everyone considers that to even be an issue at all.

Third, they must consider if that's really a problem for them, and if it is get a different--maybe smaller--iPhone.

On the other hand, I do believe it's time Apple got rid of the home button. It keeps iOS stuck in a decade ago.

I was wondering about this when they released the 5c along with the 5s: what will they name the next generation 5c? 6c? It kind of breaks the naming convention they seem to have at the moment. Or maybe they'll just update the c line every other year? So:

  • 5
  • 5s, 5c
  • 6
  • 6s, 6c

What has my quote got to do with Samsung?.. has everything got to have them as a negative to enable Apple to be a positive....
Do you drive a Ford and constantly slag off chevvy.. do you only wear levi's. And tut at non levi's wearing copyists...
I'm sure the t shirt you are wearing right now is very very similar in style to the first t shirt ever made.. So you buy gear which is shamefully copied from other companys designs.. oh the irony....
But hang on.. all thats fine.. it's only an issue when Samsung copies Apple.. have I got that right... Feel free to correct me if I've missed something out..
This 'turf war" between fans of 2.companies who COULD CARE LESS about their customers is just plain crazy.... The sooner it ends the better...
What about just buying what you like.. regardless of what your mates are buying..
Personally I'm mighty interested in the LG G2 next. But hey ho, that's just me..
Peace .

Am I the only person who noticed that the volume buttons on the iPhone 6 are on the wrong side of the front rendering?

That is the rumored new place for volume and power...not sure these guys actually knew that but no longer will the right side be without buttons....hopefully they pull it off better than Nokia.

So that's how the next iPhone will probably look? But probably won't?

Basically. And yet every single year people on these forums jump to conclusions and think that these ugly mock ups are the actual products and hate them. Then the real thing comes along and they can't stop talking about how beautiful the design is.

Lets not jump to conclusions based on a mock up somebody did who's never even seen the phone, mmm kay?

Protip: They never had a consistent naming system.

  • [nothing/"1st gen"]
  • 3G
  • 3GS
  • 4, 4S

I'm actually pretty excited about this design concept, but I really wish I had black front/raw aluminum back!

Pretty sure that s is plural in the article.

Any way they look pretty good, it would be nice to see a 5S next to the render just out of curiosity.

Pretty sure the quotes around 'iphone 6s' and 'iphone 6c' make you wrong.

Why would you leave out 5, 5S?

Starting too look too consistent and would go against your comment?

I do like the rounded edges.. feels great in the pocket! I do wish they would have done something more innovative with the design rather than just making it look like a small ipad. I hope the actual product will look better.

I buy what I like buy what works and I do take into account what other people have. At least in my circle most people have Apple products. so Apple products is the best way I can communicate with my family friends love ones coworkers etc. PS it just works!

it isnt the volume button. it is a power button as suspected by rumors. This will make one hand use easier with the new screen size.

I would imagine if they didn't, taking a screenshot would become exponentially more difficult as time went on.
