Lets hope somebody will pick up the show, I think its time to change the title of this thread as the show is not returning at least not yet and not on Fox.

I know Showtime was looking but I haven't heard anything official, I also heard of another network maybe interested.

I really hope it's on basic cable/satellite.. I don't want to have to rely on dvd rentals/other means for Arrested Development.

The only person I know that gets showtime I do not enjoy the company of.

It hasn't been announced whether or not it's been picked up, but it has been indicated that Showtime and ABC have shown interest.

I didn't get the end bit (the 'LIVE' part) - what was that all about? Is it because it was one of the last few eps?

It was just another joke about them stooping to a new low to get ratings...live broadcasts is something sitcoms will sometimes do for a ratings boost, and this was a joke alluding to that.

The finale was tonight, and it was excellent.

I'm hoping for an AD movie, as it was (strongly) hinted.

HOW CRAZY WAS ALL THAT?!?!?!?!? GOB's a pimp, Lindsay is adopted, and Jason Bateman's real-life sister played a hooker. Doesn't get much better than that :) So many great jokes tonight. They really outdid themselves; I hope this isn't the end.

Did Opey hint at a movie?

It was pretty halarious. Gary Cole as the CIA agent, and CIA East asking West about the bug in the fake nuke. I think that was about the hardest I've laughed, ever.

Yes, in the epilogue. Maeby brought the movie idea to the studio, and Ron Howard said he didn't think it'd make a good show, but a movie..

There were a lot of clever dirty jokes in these four episodes too...Michael's comment to Nellie about "you'll be filling three openings," 'coal shoveling'...

And you had to love "girl Michael"

I don't think I've ever laughed so hard at this show like I did tonight.

I'm going to have to watch again this weekend.

It looks like it's over...there was an 'epilogue', and everything was closed up quite nicely. Although I'd be thrilled to see it somehow continue somewhere else, it might just be better for them not to...it was just wrapped up so nicely. I'm not sure they could top the last three seasons of this show.

They certainly went out on top. My cousin's MSN name is now;

(unknown) - "I don't see it as a series. Maybe a movie."

I'm so glad I taped it, I'm going to go watch it again.

I'm not sure if this was intentional or just a happy accident...I enjoyed the fact that they referenced "Black Friday" at the Bluth Company when all the employees got fired. I think they were drawing a parallel to the fact that tonight (a Friday) was the last episode, and that they are sort of being 'fired' from Fox.

Great ending

Too much good stuff to reference. I loved all the family ties stuff. She's not your sister, but she is in real life. And she's not your sister, she's adopted. I was actually thinking this through the entire series. Nothing spells lovin' like marrying your cousin.
Man I am going to have G.O.B.'s theme music stuck in my head forever. What is that tune? It's sounds familiar. Like a video game I was really bad at so I would hear that music start over again every few seconds after I died.

"The Final Countdown" by Europe

I normally hate custom cell phone ring tones, but part of me is really tempted to find that and put it on my phone :)

I swear if I heard that out in public I would crack up or at least crack a smile.:)

Tonight sucked.... only because fi no one picks this up, this may be the last of Arrested Development forever.

Stupid, stupid America. I can't believe not many people like this show. It's absolutely hilarious. AD haters should DIIIIIIIIIIE.

Great way to go out. I like that the final episode had some references all the way back to the pilot (Michael asking George Michael, "What have I always said is the most important thing?").

I just can't believe they made fun of Terri Schiavo with Buster's "coma".
