Hey larry, from what I saw in your review you said the seethru was pretty snug, I'm guessing it probably wouldn't work with a SGP leather skin on the back?

That case is very tempting. I may pick it up tomorrow. I settled for the Candyshell because I couldn't find a clear case that was actually good. That case fits the bill though. Great review :D

If it was same as candy shell I'd get it a heartbeat. To me candy shell is one of best cases on the market.

I'd say that this is the closest to a clear CandyShell that you can get. The only real difference is that it's thinner due to the fact that it doesn't have the softer rubber interior that the CandyShell has inside the harder outer plastic layer. The soft rubber is only on the sides/top/bottom of this case, to keep the phone snug inside. It couldn't have the rubber inner layer lining the complete case, or it wouldn't be completely transparent. It'd be opaque like the sides of the case are.

i'm using this case right now so i can probably answer any questions that you guys have.

first off, the fitting is VERY snug. and that also makes it incredibly difficult to remove. i wouldn't recommend it if you travel (and need to swap SIMs) or have a habit of using different cases every other day etc.

its a flexible plastic material ie it WILL get scratched eventually. and its pretty visible. it will probably end up like the incase snap clear from the apple case program (for those who have used it before / seen reviews)

volume/sleep buttons are pretty hard to press. was using the pixelskin hd / apple bumper previously for comparison.

the interior at the back is hard so use a protector unless you want the glass to get scratched to hell.

overall it feels great. pretty awesome all round protection while maintaining the aesthetics of the device. 8/10 for me. -1 because any tiny manufacturing flaws in the material look pretty awful. and -1 again because of the button issue that i mentioned

Thanks for that review. I will definitely stick with my Moonsickle Canydshell now.

The back scratches very easily, but the phone feels very secure and protected in the case.
Its the first clear case thats done properly for the iPhone 4 in my opinion. Everything feels well made and well fitted.
The first case I got had some flash from the mould so I returned and exchanged for another one. The second one isn't perfect but its close enough.

Does anyone have the Satin version in Black?

Saw the pics on Specks website and it looks exactly like the Grey translucent NGP, not necessarily black.

I just picked one up.
Good fit, even with front and back screen protectors.
Very stiff but flexible plastic on the back, the surrounds have stiff silicon like rubberised feel.
Nice grip without being too grippy.
Back is completely clear
Covered buttons with softer rubber, very good feedback
No flash issue.

Will post pics tomorrow.

.....I agree with this totally ! It is a fantastic case apart from one MAJOR issue (which I can't overlook and have since stopped using because of this) - around the edge of the case, it has a seriously grippy rubber lip. While good in gripping the surface if you place your iPhone face down, the problem is, is that it also makes it REALLY difficult to pull it in and out of your pockets because the rubber lip just grips everything....:S

Everytime I pull it out of my pocket ( :p) it pulls the pocket out with it because the rubber just grips the inside of it!

Shame really cos other than this - it's a fantastic case.

So for those of you that have been using this for a while. How is the back holding up as far as scratches? I tried the reveal for my 3GS before I got the 4 and it looked horrible after a few days. If this one is like the reveal, I'll pass!

Bumping this for more information. Does anyone have any other feedback regarding this case? I am interested.
