New thread tab?

There was a new thread tab on the main forum page before, is there something similar on the new set up?

I'm guessing you're referring to the "Create a Thread" button we had on the old version. It's on individual forum index pages and on the New Posts search results page, but not currently on the main forum index page. I imagine it could be added, but that's a question for arn once he gets back online. He had a long day yesterday.

No, that is new posts, which can be accessed many different places.

I am referring to new threads.

Not "create a thread", but the button to view new threads created by anyone.

The button I am referring to was next to the "Trending Threads" button and "New Posts" button on the old main forum page.

It was nice to see all the new threads in all the sub-forums in one location, instead of having to go into each sub-forum to see new threads.

Keep in mind that I do not mean new posts to existing threads, but brand new threads.

EDIT: Actually, I do not think that there was a "New Posts" button, it was the "Forum List" button. So. Forum List, Trending Threads, and New Threads. Now, it just says Trending Threads and Forum List.

I know what you are talking about. It’s not here yet but we are revamping the front index.

While searching for a "New Threads" link, I found unanswered threads. It is close, but of course if there is one reply, then that thread is removed from unanswered threads.

I hope that the "New Threads" comes back.

I am enjoying the other changes though.

I noticed that a "New Posts" tab was added recently next to the "Forum" and "Trending" tabs, and right where "New Threads" used to be.

But, they are very different things.

ya it’s also helpful to get unseen content surfaced.

I’m still rearranging stuff. I don’t like the nav bar situation. And may test some other views.
