I completely agree that Apple should update the sounds in iOS 7. I wrote a bit about this on my site over here: http://turtlepie.org/post/2013/6/marimba

I really think this distracts from the new user interface. Anyways, thank you so much for posting these updated tones. I can't wait to hear them and load them up!

Same here, just so it's a little more upbeat.

One note: I do find these tones a bit too quiet overall, and quieter than the default iPhone tones.

But overall, I love them. Very grateful that someone has created some nice, clean, professional tones. Very hard to find!

I was lead to believe OP was suggesting they'd change the default tones. I was saying the current default tones are satisfying and part of what makes iPhone iconic.

Apple has created a whole new look for iOS 7, but they haven't created new sounds to replace the old ones (at least not yet). I think there should be some new sounds for the new operating system, so I created some with Logic Pro X. They are simpler, shorter, and more modern and fitting of the operating system. I hope you enjoy them.

You can download them through Dropbox below. Once they are downloaded, just open them with iTunes, and they should import into your Tones library. Then, just sync your iDevice with iTunes and you should have the new tones available to select in Settings. Let me know if it doesn't work. Note: There is a bug with Mavericks DP5 that may prevent you from syncing your phone.

You can preview the sounds by going to the links on your iPhone and clicking download. It will play inside of the browser.

I had the same issue. If you have GarageBand, change the extension to M4A, drag them onto a track, turn up the track volume, and then send to iTunes as a ringtone.

Love these new tones. Is there any way you can make the tones a little louder ? They seem a little off volume wise with the rest of the sounds on my phone (Eg. Whatsapp). I've been trying to do them myself with no luck (Can't find a Windows 7 app that is intuitive enough).Thanks in advance
