New Verizon Phone

I played around with my cousins storm and loved it. The whole click touc screen thingy is sweet and tbe speakers were realy loud which is a plus for also landscape texting and email is a huge plus so go with the storm
 
I think you need to go to a Verizon store and either have them update the Firmware, if there is an update, or read the howardforums to find out if others have the same issues.

All the things you mentioned sound like software/firmware issues, so i'm sure there are fixes for it. Besides, i just don't see any really worth the money phones at Verizon anyway.
