Apple should disable the “you are being tracked by an Airtag” feature. It would make Airtags far more useful in cars to prevent theft and keeping an airtag in your kid's backpack to track the kids whereabouts.
That’s not the purpose of them.
1) they don’t prevent theft, they may help the vehicle be located.
2) tracking a child’s location is creepy, and shows lack of parenting. If you need to do that, give them the AirTag and let them disable notifications. Too many creeps out there already.

Kids are not things that you own. And to think that putting an AirTag on your kid knowing their whereabouts, brings them safety is not a very sensible thought. It may only give the parents the idea of more control and domination over their youngsters. But it wil also limit a child in their discovery of the world, in their development and their personality.

Parents will have the false idea that they can always see where their child is. While when something real terrible happens, a child maybe at a remote location where the tag simply doesn't work.
