Yeah me. I got one of the first ones on Tuesday afternoon when the store re-opened after the iPhone aanouncement. It had the screen problem. I took it back the next day but all they had in were week 37s.

The (very helpful) Apple store guy let me open another one and look at it but it had the same problem. I got my money back. I'm now waiting for the iPhone instead.

By the way Jonnyb, how did you checked the one in the store? Did it had any video stuff loaded or you could see the problem just by looking at it?

No, I went back to the store prepared. I took my Powerbook in with me so I could load 'The Incredibles' onto the second ipod to test it. There are some quite nice dark scenes in that film that showed the flawed screen up very nicely.

I was very impressed with the Apple store's willingness to let me test out another one to my satisfaction.
