I really wonder if this is just a new colour or a new pencil. I will get my first ever digital pencil soon with my (soon) 11 iPP 2020.

Btw I wish Apple enabled the v2 pencil on earlier iPads. I am giving away my 2017 iPP to family and would be great if we could share the pencil v2 with both iPads.

Yep. I HATED the color of my Airpods until I lost one under the seat on a plane.

Should incorporate an LED light of some kind that can be triggered when lost.

The problem with that being that you wouldn’t be able to charge the pencil with the older iPad. You would have to find a 2018/2020 iPad Pro to charge it with.

Ive used both but the charging on the 2nd generation is much more convenient. But depending on which iPad you own is which pencil you can use.
