I started to write that I would rather see other colors, like Space Gray, which I do think would look really sharp, and then got to thinking that what Apple could do, would be to offer the iPad Pro accessories in Space Gray, so that you not only could get a Pencil in SG, but the USB C power cord and charging brick would also be in SG, as well as the Magic Keyboard. It would kind of make it like an iMac Pro, but in iPad Pro form.

I am definitely tired of the white cords Apple sticks with - they end up looking grungy over time, even yellowing, and devalue the product. Shifting Pro models to have darker colors would be a nice way of adding to the value of the “Pro” models - of iPad and iPhone.

Making it pencil-shaped, and pencil-sized, and used for writing/drawing, it feels like they're really missing out by not offering a bright yellow model.

No thanks. Also, scrolling down this guy's twitter page it looks like he has never once leaked unreleased information before. Just has access to old prototypes.

I would welcome a black or satin black apple pencil my white one looks rather yellow instead of white

I don't believe Apple has that much innovation remaining.
If Apple released a big change every single year, none of them would materialize. People said Apple has no innovation left when the iPhone 3GS launched. And even before a year had passed, the iPad came out and even then people said the same thing. Like what do people expect, a triangular foldable keychain that opens up into circular smartphone?

Color options are nice, but would love more features such as to be able to flip the pencil over to serve as an eraser.

So I can put a black tip onto my white pencil?
Awesome.

Did you miss the double tapping feature?
Way easier than turning the pencil over.

Just please actually match the space grey of my iPad.

I have an SG Magic Mouse and it’s like 30% darker than my MBP and iPad (which is also not the same shade as my MBP, wtf?)

Why does Apple have so many different space grey’s?

And it'll be horrifically priced like the iPad keyboard, way more than the $165 AUD when the pencil came out.

@AngerDanger can you please animate this
It really would be quite an innovative little multitool.

Great. How about a finish that doesn't slip out of your hand. You know, because it's something that you hold in your hand?

The challenge in matching colors for products produced by different manufacturers and different materials is part of the issue.
