You said you "took it in" to NextByte. Is that place 700km away? Your beef is with them so why are you haggling with people over the phone? Go there now and do not leave until you are taken care of. If they have to order something for you get it in writing.

Still skeptical.

No the nearest actual apple shop where you deal with apple not a third party is 700km away

First mistake; not calling Apple first. They would have arranged for someone to pick up your computer, or told you where to mail it to and whom to use.
Second, why take to a shop that's not authorized by Apple?

Next byte are a premium apple reseller? Doesn't that make them authorized?

You could've just called them, with a phone.

No. Here, Best Buy sells every Apple product, but if your computer needs warranty work done with Applecare you don't take it to Best Buy.

After taking the machine back and it being sent to be analysed, i today received a response stating that Next Byte could not find anything wrong with it and all my problems was interference due to the damaged case.
I responded stating it wasn't acceptable, and will hear from them again tomorrow what do you guys think?

I would ring Apple directly and tell them which next byte store you went to and how badly they've screwed you around then go to a "Mac Centre" (the other main 3rd party apple specialists in Australia)

Mac Centre don't exist where I live
