Next Gen MBP - When's it Coming?

Nah, the MBP is the only thing that serves my needs really. A refurb Macbook would be useless to me.

You seem to be able to do without it for the next 4-6 months. Do you really need it? What is it you need a MBP for that a 0.1ghz slower Macbook will not be able to provide?

The next gen mbp aka montevina will come later this year, I'm 100% positive on that.

Apple has to keep up with their updates as to other vendors or else they will lose alot of sales and $$.

Remember Apple is not the same company as it was 3 years ago with the g4/g5, where they can schedule an update whenever they wanted or according to their plan without losing competition and sales.

The iPod deal starts June and ends Sept,..... I think the next update is June,... and is the 2nd update in Sept?

I don't need it as urgent,.... so I have get it in Sept if there's an update in Sept,....

Anyone know from previous experience?

Choose whichever iPOD and get $200 off for student deal,.... they have it for 2 summers now if I'm not mistaken,.....

My question is will there possibly be 2 updates for MBP during the iPOD promo? Is it normal for apple to update in June and then in Sept again?

no i don't think there'll be 2 more updates.
it's either this june or late august.
probably the latter.
they'll throw in the ipod deals on june to dispose the current generation.
