Nice - at last! Not showing on mine yet though. Will be good if they introduce notifications ala Dark Sky as well. Also would like them to use a more reliable source but I'll take what I can get for now.

It’s weird, I saw it early this morning when I went to bed, but now it’s vanished!
Does it only appear in the app occasionally as it’s pouring down with rain right now and nothings displayed.

Finland didn’t get that update yet, but it seems Apple finally realized it doesn’t make sense to show a warning for “snow and ice” for months on end, something it’s been doing since iOS 14.

I live in Finland. It’s called winter.

Whatever. This info has always been available on the Apple Watch.

It's good to learn that there are countries outside the USA! But I guess there are actually many more countries in the world, and many of them already have well established open data source for rain forecast and radar information.

Don't know if it's a gradual rollout, but no sign of it on my devices in the UK

The often can't get hour to hour predictions right when it comes to rain, don't see this working here in AU.

I've seen it show up on mine as well here in the UK. Generally the widget now seems to change layout and information depending on circumstances and time of day.

I had the precipitation outlook this morning when it was going to rain, but now it's back to the hourly overview. In the evenings it switches to a daily forecast and and a general descriptor of the next day (warmer, colder, wetter...).

It's neat, but I agree that it would be nice to be able to customise what I want to see.

Can anyone tell me how to force it to be like this? It keeps switching between vertical (love!) and horizontal.

Hi guys, I’ve just noticed this in the UK too at around midnight. Whilst I applaud the feature I don’t necessarily appreciate it on the largest of the widgets as there is a lot of empty space.

I had the widget at its largest so that it would show the forecast for the coming days? Is there any way I can get this back? Id much rather have that information on the widget than the hourly precipitation.
It appears on my side that it only shows up when it is actually raining or will do in the next hour. Then it reverts back to a daily forecast.

Unfortunately I think you can't. I love this layout as well but I only seem to be able to get it in the evening.
I hadn’t noticed it being only in the evening - I think I’ve seen it during the day too but maybe not. I’ll keep an eye out but it’s a great layout

Agree and yeah I might be wrong, but I thought this is the long-term layout with next day info Apple thinks you want to see before going to bed, while giving you hourly and precipitation during the day. They're not completely wrong, but it would still be nice if we could choose.

The idea it always rains in the UK isn't true. It has as much or less rainfall than a lot of places in the world.

Yeah it's a bit of a tired cliche now. It certainly doesn't rain that often where I live in the Midlands.

I live in the UK, and love the Dark Sky App. While the UK does get a fair amount of rain, we can basically get 4 seasons in a day. As one American once said to me, 'if you don't like the weather in the UK wait a minute'. It can be clear, warm and sunny when you leave the house to go out, but an hour later it can be raining cats and dogs. The Dark Sky app can be a godsend to plan what you take with you when you go out. It is surprisingly accurate and glad that Apple are now extending the functionality to the stock Weather App.

Hmm... When will the dark sky be the new stock iOS weather app? I mean there moving features so slowly why not just replace it already!!!!!!
