I just ordered one today. I would be very surprised if it wasn't delivered before June.

i couldn't agree with you more. I wonder if they will come out a statement. To me the main thing that was missing the lack of transparency. It was always "i don't have any more info at this time" that too me was the biggest slap in the face.

You are absolutely right!

Unfortunately Apple is able to slap us around, so to speak, all because we're a captive audience. Their selfish disrespectful treatment of their very loyal and in many cases, long standing customers will not be forgotten. Yet sadly it just doesn't matter with an 800 pound Gorilla like Apple.

At this rate my 12:08 will arrive after the next ice age.

(this all sounds like some dystopian nightmare :D )

Same, 42 SG 4-6weeks. I think it goes back to location.

Im in the Denver area, haven’t seen many posts from people in this area. Only a small handful on craigslist. 90% 32mm ones. I bet your right with the location. Hmmm…

my space gray 42 mm was ordered on 4/10 at 12:06. Which changed to "shipped" today at like 8 am EST and I will get it by monday via UPS.

I don't believe anything you write.

You claimed to have cancelled your order recently, in a previous post. How did you suddenly un-cancel it.

"i would love to know too. i cancelled my order of 42 mm SG BSB so someone else can get a watch. this product 'launch' has made me look at apple another way and it will be a long good time before i buy anything else from them. they are really going to let a ton of loyal customers down."

You also claimed to have ordered your watch at :03 in a previous post. How did this suddenly become :06?

"i ordered a 42mm SG black band at 12:03 and card was charged but still processing. I also ordered a 38 mm SS metal loop at 12:04 and that was charged and has already been shipped."

You are just trying to stir up trouble. Maybe you can find something more productive to do.

I mean country. I'm not sure what or where the 42mm SG went, but I don't think the first bulk came to the states. i'm in the California Bay area btw.

Shipments will be daily as watches are made. They really don't keep any inventory except for the first couple of weeks to help with the initial surge. (I think the oldest "birthdate" was 3 weeks ago)

Unfortunately they can't meet the initial demand simply because it does't make financial sense to sit on a lot of inventory or to build manufacturing capability for peak demand. If you keep products in a warehouse and don't sell them when you could, you've left money on the table. If you build manufacturing capability for max demand, it will sit underutilized.

You should be happy that some models are unavailable and there is now a long waiting list. It means that Apple sold it as soon as they could. If they waited to build up stock, no one would have gotten one until June.

Ok, but I simply can't believe they made ZERO pink sport bands. ZERO modern buckles in ANY size or color. ZERO black link bracelets. And if they didn't make ANY in the TWO WEEKS from pre-order to launch, well, that is just wrong and sucks donkey balls.

Shipping doesn't seem go by time or location

I ordered a pink 38 mm sport 3:03...still processing....in SC...mt friend got his blue 42mm in the same city 4/24 (ordering 4/10 about 3:03) and my mom who lives in Florida ordered a 38 mm blue sport 3 days after sales opened 4/13...and already received it on launch day ( it was June for delivery)...I can't figure this out.

Nothing makes since...Like what was the point of me getting up at 2am to get my order in first. Obviously it didn't make a difference.

Well I know it hard to believe but people CAN order more than 1 watch! Shocker I know! Also you are just jelly I'm getting my watch before you. And furthermore you can suck it.

Sure you can order another watch. You ordered a 38mm SS that already shipped. Here's a message you might remember typing:

"i ordered a 42mm SG black band at 12:03 and card was charged but still processing. I also ordered a 38 mm SS metal loop at 12:04 and that was charged and has already been shipped."

So your 38mm SS shipped AND your 42mm SG now shipped? And you claimed to have cancelled an order? And your email times keep changing? Ridiculous.

I agree that it seems they we're a little unprepared for what is a relatively low tech part of the watch. I'm sure they're unhappy with their supplier. What is really going to mess with you is that it might be just the pink specific labels that weren't ready.
