No, Apple's vintage status is a function of when the computer was last sold new, not when it was released. After all, Apple is still selling late 2013 Mac Pros as brand new today.I know that which is why I mentioned to the OP that (maybe yours also) will be declared vintage. I don't know if it has quite a while to go. Apple can be unpredictable - even though that model was sold up until 2016, it's still a 2012.
