BGR released the specs for the nexus prime. There goes my Iphone 4 pre-order, unless it is not coming to rogers in Canada. Based on those specs, its hard to justify being stuck for another 2-3 years with an Iphone 4s.

http://www.bgr.com/2011/10/06/samsung-galaxy-nexus-full-specs-revealed-verizon-wireless-exclusive/

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
9mm thin
4.65-inch 1280 x 720-pixel Super AMOLED HD with curved glass
TI OMAP 4460 dual-core Cortex A9 processor clocked at 1.2GHz
1GB of RAM
32GB of built-in storage
5-megapixel camera on the back, 1.3-megapixel in the front
1080p HD video capture support
LTE/HSPA depending on carrier
Wi-Fi a/b/g/n
NFC
1,750 mAh battery

4.6 inch screen, what is with android and huge damn screens?

Thats not a phone its a mini tablet. :(

I really wish they would put the Nexus phones on the three top carriers. Because I'm not going to break my contract and switch to Verizon for this.

Except, it's BGR. Therefore, completely unreliable.

(Example: IPHONE 5 EXCLUSIVE TO SPRINT)

Suprised of only 5 megapixels camera, otherwise a BEAST of a phone..
Huge screen, 720p, all the works..
ice cream

I'm sure this has been discussed on here a lot (I don't spend much time on forums) but is there a reason a curved screen would be seen as a bonus?

Nexus Prime

I have every Nexus (Pure Android) phone thus far and they are simply stellar

This can either be completely true or completely false, but if true. Other than the verizon exclusive part this is great.

That was actually WSJ that reported that and BGR linked to their story.

SN: Hope they have an unlocked version. Not going to VZW.

The phone's hardware is excellent. But, software is more important to me. Hardware can only go so far, software is where usability comes in. I'll stick with iOS.

Count me in for one

What do the top of the line android phones go for at full price? $599 or $699 i think?
