I just ordered a 6P 32gb (only one available) Aluminium colour. It should be here by end of this week or beginning of next. (Delivery date down as 29th October - 2nd November)

Will compare to my Moto X Style and see which I prefer and which I will keep long term

Changed mind and went for graphite instead. Also ordered the funky nexus case (carbon)

Just got my shipping email! 32gb Aluminum. Was originally supposed to arrive Nov 18-20 so I am super excited.

I have pretty small hands so I'll make sure to give my impressions of using the device for anyone who is still worried about the size. Although I wanted a phablet even before the 6p was announced. I plan on making it my ereader. Hopefully all the glowing reviews are right.

Same here. Wasn't even bothering to check on it figuring I had at least a couple of week to wait and BOOM the shipping email dropped in my inbox. Still hasn't hit FEDEX tracking so no delivery date yet, but hopefully soon. Project Fi sim arrives Thursday.

I like drab colors, give me an all black phone ANY day of the week. I'm not a big make my phone look like a peacock fan. Silver bezels, 2 tone colors, fake chrome accents, huge letters across the front of the device, etc, bleh not for me. I agree on the camera hump thought, it's hideous.

I view smartphones sort of like clothing. The silver, black or gray case is the equivalent of blue jeans. Nothing wrong with it but since everyone wears the same thing I'd rather have something a bit more exciting as far as color choice goes. For example on the new HTC A9 the crimson color option was one of the only redeeming things about the design as it clearly separates it from every other smartphone that follows whatever colors Apple offers. I really dig the bonkers sandwich colors on the new Lenovo Vibe X2 Pro too.

Of course when I go back to Apple (the past year) they bring an actual amazing Nexus phone. No compromises at all. I I have had every nexus since the nexus s, but I just can't spend the money on another phone. Plus I am just too invested in Apple now. I really wish Google had done this years ago.

Since using Google Photos and Play Music I genuinely don't need as much storage nowadays, but don't want to be short-sighted.

I'm still sceptical about battery life and the phone possibly getting hot when being used for more than a few mins. Hopefully will get some reports on these (non)issues, before I decide to part with my iPhone 6s Plus and get the 6s. I have Spigen cases and glass protector on order so dont mind waiting a couple more weeks LOL

I was worried about the overheating issue, but it just doesn't seem there are any reports of it being a serious issue. Thankfully.

As for battery life, people are averaging as low as 3+ hours, or as high as 6. : shrug : Either way, sounds pretty good.

My main reason for pause is the USB C. It's great that it's future-proof and I know things will get easier next year as other OEMs adopt it and cables become more readily available and affordable, but I'm personally not ready to give up all my wired and wireless chargers quite yet...

Once the price is right, though, I may not be able to resist the 6P...

I'd love to get some hands on experience first, too. Hope that'll be made possible somehow by Best Buy or something...

3 hours sound really low!!!? The big massive plus about my iphoen 6s Plus is I dont have to carry a charger with me as i still have 30-40% charge left at the end of the day. and I do use the phone a LOT when whiling away the hours during the day.

I'd be worried if the 6P has bad battery life and I have to carry a charger everywhere.

in all honesty I could get away with 32Gb myself, but I download a lot of shows on bbc iplayer to watch offline and the space filled up pretty quick on my Note 4 32Gb so just want a 64Gb just to be on the safe side.

Seems to be the bigger storage capacity versions that are suffering the delay.

Yeah much faster than Apple Store online which was quick enough too. I thought ordering a case with it might actually have slowed it down but it doesn't appear to be so. My parcel is on the way to Heathrow Airport to leave the UK. If it's not here by tomorrow it will definitely be Friday anyway.

I look forward to hearing your opinion regarding the 6P, you may be the opinion that tips me in favour of the 6P.

My S6 is still doing fine for now minus a couple of bugs and garbage battery life although I may end up grabbing the Note 5 if the 6P doesn't live up to the hype.

Yeah they do tend to be one of the poorer couriers tbh
