...and injuries, bad breaks (like phantom "penalties") and, the ball bounces funny.
I just don't want to see a game's outcome be dictated by the refs. It's the playoffs, let the teams play it out.

But I'm sure we'll see a lot of 'tick tack' holding/PI calls this weekend.

No such ting as "ticky tacky". Many moons ago some stupid jock meant to say the phrase "nit picky" but said, like an idiot, "ticky tacky" instead.

And neither do I.

Might add the Texans to that list. Word 'round the campfire is they're gonna evaluate HC David Culley's performance to see whether he remains or gets fired. *IF* they let him go, it'd be the biggest mistake since trading away DeAndre "Nuk" Hopkins for a 3rd rounder. My Texans has made a lot of bone head moves in the past few years.

Hail, if they fire Culley, I'll find myself another team to root for. Yeah, they only got 4 wins this year, but they were expected to go 0-16. Culley is a damn good HC if he kept the team disciplined enough to be competitive in most games this year.
Welp. Looks like I'm in the market for a new team to root for. I'm open to suggestions, but 3 teams have a perma-ban on me liking: the Patriots?, the Cowboys? and the Steelers? (I'm still salty from the Luv Ya Blue era?). I'll be rooting for Tenneesee during the Playoff althought I think they'll be one and done...again.
If Coach Culley joins a new team, I'm open to rooting for them. IMO, he was a major reason a 3rd round QB was the 2nd best rookie QB this year. I'd imagine we'd be gushing about [Trevor] T. Law being a generational talent if he had Culley had coached the Jags.

Rooting for the Bills this weekend.

My picks for the Wildcard round…

Bengals over Raiders
Bills over Patriots
Buccaneers over Eagles
Cowboys over 49ers
Chiefs over Steelers
Cardinals over Rams

After the first day, I’m 2-0.

Have to say I’m surprised at the beat down the Bills put on the Patriots.

The Bengels were also really impressive. That might be the one team that could pull ‘upset’ that nobody sees coming.

That was brutal. And not a way Bill Belichick wants to end in the first round of playoffs, and I have a feeling changes are imminent headed into the 2022–2023 season.

They were! Great game too! They have a bright future.

I'm tickled to death! 58 year old LIFELONG RAIDER here. That was RAIDER football! Penalties, weird plays, that is what being a RAIDER fan was like growing up. We're getting there.

Yeah I thought the writing was on the wall for the Patriots when Colts said we’re just going to focus on stopping the run and make Mac Jones beat us through the air, and administered a swift beating with that strategy. The patriots wide receivers don’t have enough quality, and Mac Jones is in his Rookie year. When the Colts proved it was possible for a good team to do this…

Still I wasn’t expecting a 17-47 scoreline. Pats were comprehensively beaten.

So…

Sunday
Eagles v Buccaneers
49ers v Cowboys
Steelers v Chiefs

Monday
Cardinals v Rams

Some tasty games in there, I’m thinking there will be at least one upset.

1.) Chiefs over Steelers
2.) Bills over Patriots
3.) Bengals over Raiders only because I hate that team and their fans from LV
4.) Bucs over Eagles
5.) Cowboys over that freaking team from SF
6.) Rams over Cardinals (This one is a toss up as both teams are struggling right now)

Looking good so far!!

I loved it! Brutal doesn't begin to describe the beat down they took. Again, I loved it!!! There were a lot of Patriot fans at the place I was at, and you could hear a pin drop by the third quarter as they had all left.

One of the most bizarre endings to a football game I’ve ever seen.

That is 100% squarely on Dak. Getting 15yds as opposed to 10yds there doesn’t matter. You cost yourself 2-3sec when you HAD to take a shot at the end zone on the next play, regardless. Those extra yards didn’t matter. Slide after 5yds and get up to the line and spike it. Better yet, why are you running a QB draw there anyway?

That is the question. Did Dak call this on his own?

I mean he took off almost immediately, I find it hard to believe Moore called that in. That dude is going to be interviewing for HC jobs and I’m 100% certain that play will be brought up.

Agreed. I think Dak made the decision on his own and just got carried away in the heat of the moment.
