The Seahawks deserve this game. Coming in as a 11 point underdog, they came to play.
The only way they would consider a rules change if it was something that kept happening. But they make a good case for being in the playoffs by knocking out the defending champs.

My wifey is HATING football season this year. Haha. I am so pumped up and excited about so many teams. Ravens still have my heart but can't help but appreciate this talent!

At least the 'Aints made the playoffs in the first place. So many recent SB champs have come up short even on that count. This is the Superbowl curse, handing championship team a heaping helping of embarassment the following season.

Well, I'm hoping that if/when they finally win one, it will have been worth the wait.
So far, so good. Obviously my words lit a fire under the Jets offense.
But, seriously, I like the play calling on that drive. Ride your horses until they show you they can stop you. That being said, Mark Sanchez has got to start completing passes. He looks horrible, and what good is establishing your run game if you are going to miss and horribly overthrow open guys.
Since the case of a Super Bowl winner not doing so good is common, it is great that the Saints did as well as they did. We have not heard the last of them and they should continue to be a threat for a few more years.
I think tonight's game was typical of what could happen in the playoffs, which is a bad game.
I would still put my bet on the Saints over the Seahawks on any given game day, so my bet is for who goes against Seattle next, and if need be, the team after that.
If Seattle goes all the way to the SB, and win or lose that game, it will be a major story and a lot of fun. A 9-7 team getting this far would be strange, but 7-9?

The 10-6 Giants (who went on to win it all) were the definition of mediocrity. But the Seahawks are less than mediocre, they went 7-9, a different sort of team.
Can they take it all the way?
lol ... If those Giants could beat the 13-3 Cowboys, the 13-3 Packers and the 17-0 Patriots ... anything is possible
Gotta love when stupid penalties end your season (unless there is a quick stop and a phenomenal Manning drive in the final two minutes). Yes I know there is a lot of time....but how do you run into the kicker like that?
