The reason I am pulling for the Jets is ... I like Rex Ryan

As for being a fan ... I dislike every single team in the NFL ... the Eagles, Giants and Redskins I dislike more than most.

It is all about the one and only Dallas Cowboys :cool:

If the Giants played like they should have the Packers would never have even seen the playoffs.

like I said I do not hate the Pack ... I dislike all teams except Dallas ... as for getting our coach fired ... Wade Phillips?, him I hated. :cool:

Man I want the pack to win the superbowl, but the majority of packers fan have no respect for Brett Favre.

Considering hes done way way way more good for the franchise than bad.

It looked bad on the Pack to force Brett out when they did ... then to have him produce one of his best years ever in taking the Vikings to the NFC Championship and almost to the SB.

I would not be suprised to see them mend that situation one day and have Brett in the front office of GB.
 
The Jets D is playing great ... lets hope their offence can put some more points up and make this game close

Go Jets ... Antiques Roadshow? ... you are going to miss this
 
Oh man, the Jets really blew it by not punching it in. Time is running out and I think that just cost them any chance of winning.

How does it look bad on the Pack? Favre retired the Packers moved on, then Favre got jealous.

When you have a QB that has done that much for your franchise ... to tell him that you will not even give him the chance to compete for the starting job.

I don't blame Brett for moving on ... the Packers should have let him at least try to earn the job ... getting so close to the SB the very next season tells me he would have still been able to start in GB

He WAS the franchise. GB wanted to get Rogers in after sitting on the bench for 3 years. Why should the team let Favre hold them hostage when they were looking to the future. If Favre said yet I want to keep playing fine, he said he was done. Then 4 months later right before practice said he wanted to play.

I suspect you have left out a year there. The team he played for right after the Packers was not the Vikings.

Simple answer ... let them both compete for the Job ... IMO, even changing his mind on retirement, let him have a chance to earn the starting job.

He just put to much into GB to say no we will not even let you earn a spot.

Too bad he lost that close NFC game to NO ... would have been so sweet for Brett to play in the SB after GB shut him out.

I said the next year in Minnesota ... he played for the Jets that very same year the Pack tossed him aside.

Had Favre retired 3 years ago he would be a legend. He really hurt his legacy by playing past his prime all because of his streak record. He used the Jets to get to the Vikings and almost destroyed both franchises in the process. Favre only cares about himself not the players or team around him.

They did bite, though. You cannot lay all the blame on Favre. Really, he liked doing what he was doing and was able to con teams into letting him keep doing it. What would you do?

Do the Vikings know who their QB will be next year? They wasted 2 seasons with Favre and got nowhere and now they might have to look for a permanent QB.

Brett had one of his best years ever the first year he was in Minny. They almost went to the SB by losing a very close game to the SB Champs.

I agree he should have hung it up after that close NFC Championship loss.

Having Brett Favre in camp does not stop you from developing your next QB.

Randy Moss did more damage than anybody ... plus the players hated Brad Childress not Brett Favre.

Brett Favre will still be looked upon as a legendary NFL QB.
