Anyone who buys a Link Bracelet from Apple is an idiot (unless it was when they were first released or scarce)

Not appropriate to label one an idiot for a purchasing something they choose to purchase. Scarcity of the band has nothing to do with a purchase for the link band. One can justify the purchase for the high quality and appreciation behind the craftsmanship, it takes nine hours to manufacture the link strap. If you haven't handled or worn one, then you wouldn't understand the beauty behind it.

Yes, there are cheaper third party options similar in physical appearance and link removal, but the OEM link band is nothing short of exquisite and trumps third party stainless bands. I own the stainless link and black link, it's worth it by my standards.

Well, I do suppose if you take that statement out of context, it does sound stupid
But if you read my entire statement, or the ones before/after, there is an explanation

But let's make SoN1NjA look like an idiot, right?

I did read your replies, before and after. And I replied with why your justification appeared unfair to label the link bracelet as you did. Your slightly skewing what I stated. Which was my opinion of how view you those as "Idiots" who purchase the link bracelet, as you clearly put it.

Ok? I purchased both mine from Apple. Which means nothing in terms of someone being an "Idiot." Choosing where to purchase something has no relevance over price point if it's the same product. Perhaps one has no desire to purchase elsewhere except Apple for various reasons. Again, it's my opinion,I don't agree with your inflammatory comment.

I just don't understand why you would purchase the band from Apple for $450, when you can purchase the band and watch BNIB for $100 less (example, yes I know this is bid, but they don't move)

Also, Apple retail experience isn't special, here's why
Went to try on Apple Watch models, had waited 20 minutes, I ask to try on Link Bracelet, because I wasn't sure what size I wanted (in my case, 38 and 42 are fine for my wrist)
So he puts this trash bag on my wrist, the thing doesn't even stay on top of my wrist, and I ask if we can remove links, says no because he "doesn't want to lose them"

#1 how can you lose them, they're "big" shiny links, on the navy blue table
#2 how do you expect me to purchase a $1200 watch without knowing if it fits or looks good on me

Call me crazy, but I think he thought I wasn't a serious customer, and didn't want to be there any more than he had to, I'm under 18, so I'm sure I don't look like a person who buys $1200 Watch
Come another day to try on, and this other employee lets me, was a *very* nice person

Also had a try on in the summer, purchase a leather band, while trying it on the employee went on his personal phone

And I do like to purchase my leather and Sport bands from Apple though, they're actually priced reasonably

the other guy or me?

@raqball was referring to you.

Bottom line is this. I chose to purchase from Apple, because in my experiences have always been positive and I choose to give them my business. And I will continue to do so for future purchases. If Apple continues to treat my with respect as they always have and release a nice product, then I will gladly
Spend the extra money with them. Those are my views and opinions. Yours differ. I understand that.
