I have many pair of Nikes more then a decade old that look and feel brand new

So would any pair of shoes sitting in a box. :p

If you even try telling me you’ve been wearing the same pair of shoes for over a decade, don’t. Get your stinky cheese feet out of here!

One other solution would be to make shoes that are consistent in sizing so shoes wouldn't "run small".

I mean, not at the same time. I’ve got my “old” running shoes, newer ones I try and keep clean, casual, bad weather...

That explains why you have some that are 3 years old. You barely wear them. :) I am in the camp of buying one pair and wearing them every day until my heels touch the asphalt.

Good for you. I hate buying shoes. I’ve tried buying two of the exact same sneaker when I buy them but they seem to never have two of my size in stock (11.5).

Not exactly. The clean shoes are the ones that are new.
