I'd merely clarify that I only speculated that the larger screen size drew more power and was the reason for the equivalent battery life claim. I try not to claim actual knowledge where I don't have it. :)

My guess is Apple likes to be conservative about their battery claims, so the number they list is what you'd get with a 38, and if you have a 42, your battery will last considerably longer than Apple's battery life estimate.

Huh? There's no difference in size between the Nike edition and other AW2 models.

Even the 42mm is smaller than some other non-Apple watches such as the Garmin Fenix 3 at 51mm x 51mm.

You do realize the band swaps out easily just like any of the other bands, yes?

For me the black/gray Nike band has been fine as a general purpose band. I've not felt any desire for something else.

Yes. I realize the simplicity of changing the bands. I own 25 Plus bands. I was referring to the Nike Band as not coordinating with something I would wear on a daily basis and appears to be best suited around the house for my needs. I prefer leather or stainless bands.

How's everyone feel about the all Stainless Steel version vs. the black stainless. The All stainless seem sold out everywhere I found a black one and a gray Nike one can't decide which one I'll keep. Now that all Stainless is starting to grow on me with a black band...

I prefer the black stainless over the silver. I like how the black screen and body blend together, plus it matches my black titanium wedding ring I wear on the same hand.

The SG Nike has the dark gray matte look and it is considerably lighter on your wrist. It took me almost 3 days to get used to the heavier SS after wearing the AW Sport for a year.

Yeah. It's rare for me to see either stainless in public. I've seen tons of sports. The black stainless I wanted... Then I've seen one with all Stainless and a black leather band and it looked good! That brightness of it stands out.
The black will look good with red or even a white band. I've got some decisions

I have both SS Serieds 2's. I enjoy wearing the SB more as it's more durable. The standard SS is much nicer to look at and you can match more bands with it but the downside being that if you knock it then it will scratch. You can, off course polish that out :)

So you're actually more fond of the Stainless over the SB?

I think Apple should have made the SB SS available with Nike branding. Maybe just Black/Volt only.
I just bought a black/flat grey Nike band at CEX for £40. Grade B. It excellent condition and all 3 parts of the band came with it. I'll post pics of it on my SB SS as I specifically bought it for that Watch. I'll keep my eyes open for a black/volt also.

The watch is too big on the wrist like screaming for attention that you have Apple Watch. The large size is sticking out like a sore thumb The right size proportionate for your wrist is a smaller one. It is a pity look.

Unless my English sucks I don't why this even matters? He is asking about a Nike watch or the SS in space black. Not matter of size

I wouldn't listen to the store pickup at all. Got a SS with the white band when the store said it only had it in SB. I asked them while I was returning the sports model and had the intention of buying the SB one.

I have the series 2 42mm SS with white band on order, but I was thinking of changing the order to SB SS here is a few shots of me trying on the watch at the Apple Store yesterday. The silver SS is my first GEN with the Nike sport bands.
My 13 year old daughter says the SB SS is her favorite one out all the ones I tried on.
I was thinking of trying out the SB SS I don't like as much as my silver SS I will return it for a silver SS model. Also had my first Gen SS watch laying side by side with the SB SS and a customer tried to reach over and pick my watch up with the Nike band on it. And Apple Store employee was no no it's his watch but you are welcome to try the SB SS on. So maybe that's sign for me to keep my current Series 2 42 mm SS with white band on order.

Not sure if it'd go well with how you normally dress, but I'm actually really liking the edition on you in those pics. Space black gets my vote between SB and regular SS though. Do you plan on selling your old Watch? You could always keep it and buy a series 2 SB and have both colours.

I was in the same boat. I wanted the Nike band, and watch faces.

However, the Black SS became available at Best Buy before any of the nike, so I took the plunge, and won't look back!

It's a hefty price to pay, but the Black SS is beautiful, way more scratch resistant, and pretty much goes with any colour and type of band.

is the Black SS a Series 2 or a Series 0?

i dont know what i am doing with the first GEN SS yet, because the display is on its way out at the moment after 14months of having it. Apple wants $250 to replace it but i don't know yet i might fix it and keep it later on just to have both of them on deck. i mostly wear the sport band on the SS most of the time like to the gym running or cycling etc i am a AUDi tech thats my day job, and leather band for when i am going out to dinner with the wife or church etc. But i am really thinking about giving the SB SS series 2 a try at the moment. A mean if i am not feeling it after 2weeks i can exchange it for a regular SS series 2. both my girls think the SB SS and the ceramic is the best looking ones.

If they brought out a black ceramic I'd be seriously tempted!

yeah black in ceramic would be beautiful, i almost bought the SB SS first Gen instead but went for the regular SS obviously. But for the second Gen i am really thinking about going for the SB this time around.

I find my space black really matches the ceramic back. I imagine this would be what a black ceramic model would look like (in terms of colour), so I just tell myself I already have it haha

01silver4, switch it up this time around with the SB :)

I went and tried on the SS, SB, and looked at the SG Nike.
For me the SS has to have to right band on it and that'll probably be some form of a black band. I can't see myself liking it with too many other colors. Plus it does show scratches like crazy; not sure if because store model or it's prone but normal Stainless Watches I've never seen scratch that much.
The SB looks close to a SG Nike, at first glance. Most people probably won't notice. Also I plan to at least use a case for rough activities. I don't want to get stuck leaving the case on a SB watch.
So still have some decisions to make.

01, of course you're daughters will like an all white watch. The ceramic isn't my style or my price.
[doublepost=1480981869][/doublepost]Plus I'm thinking that the Sports model will serve my needs just fine... just kind of wanted to step up the premium materials this time around...

OG Apple Band?

I have a Nike knock-off band and it fits the housing very well on both Watches. The holes are spaced differently than the Apple Sport band. I wear my Sport band on the third hole from the end, but the third hole is slightly bigger on the Nike Knock-off, so I use the fourth hole from the end for running.

See, with the original sport band from Apple I'm on the 3rd hold from the end on the large band. 4th hole doesn't cut it, but the 3rd feels a bit snug. Wish there was an in between with the two.
