If they brought out a back ceramic I'd be seriously tempted!
It would be tempting. But for me, the Ceramic Edition is to light. I prefer the weight of the stainless.

For those of you who own or have seen the actual Nike+ band in person, is the band one piece of fluoroelastomer with the black color "painted" on, or it it two (or more) pieces of fluoroelastomer of different colors bound together.
Thanks!I own a Nike+ Watch, and I believe the colored parts are separate pieces. The texture of the colored parts feel different from the non-colored parts. More specifically, the colored parts, which are in the back of the band, and directly touches your skin, are softer than the front, non-colored parts.
So i nabbed a gray Nike with the gray/silver band and also an all black stainless steel.
Torn between which to keep?
Any suggestions, pros/cons?
My thought process is I like the cheaper price of the Nike, I wear a lot of sport wear, and I'm excited to test the new band out. The Nike faces that are exclusive to the watch are pretty unique too.
Only downside to me is I already have a sport and besides the bands (& faces) it'll look similar.
The stainless I like the raw look/color of it. I also think it look sweet with the red band. Makes me not want to toss a case over the watch even though I'd probably do that with the Sport.
It's a completely different look from what I have now.
Opinions....
I almost had the same boat with you. Ordered for pick-up for both because I like both and chose SS version.
After reading this forum and others discussing pro and contra between Nike+ and SBSS, I decided to cancel the Nike+ and as others saying, SS looks more premium than Nike+ and more professional. I am in 40s so professional and elegant looks are more important, although I also exercise regularly.
We are on the same boatYeah, my choice was based on a few things:
1) Although I have a lot of Nike product, I'm not a runner. Couldn't see a use of those faces.
2) The band although cool, is a bit too sporty.
3) I wanted to actually "upgrade". I already had a Space Gray Sport. So I went with the Stainless Black.
Seen my same band combo in all Stainless and was happy I went with the black.![]()

Stainless black was a good choice. It's fairly
Scratch resistant.

I got the noted point and totally understand. Thank you for sharing your view.TBH, since you can swap out bands the Nike+ Watch looks basically the same as the SB SS model when paired with a nice leather band (for example) it looks great with the blue Apple leather loop as well. Very nice for work or a nice night out on the town.
Then you still have the awesome Nike band for the gym and running. Although I have a white original Apple sport band with my NIKE SG 42mm and it looks even better than my grey black Nike band.
Edit: I definitely won't say the Nike SG with a nice leather band looks better or even exactly as good as the SB SS watch because I haven't I went the SS models nor tried my bands with them. But with the price difference I am happy with the Nike options
