So I guess it's really just ugly, but otherwise a great product. :)

It looks like a large Brother Label Printer, or some such electronic device. :D

Having said that, I'm definitely going to buy one, but, trying...to...wait...for...an XL version, my 3DS XL screen rocks compared to my regular 3DS screen size.

For something that doesn't fold, a 2DS XL may be out of the question.

Maybe a foldable version? Or just turn the 3D off...

.

I heard it's a constant battle to hold it perfectly to get the 3D effect and you can't move your head or the position of the unit or you loose the 3D.

My eyes are grand - but YES this is my experience. And FORGET any game that uses gyro because 3D is impossible to keep on for those games.

I have the XL which is only improved over the original in so much that a bigger screen is easier to hold in the 1 sweet spot over the smaller original, but yeah it takes the smallest nudge of your wrist and your looking at drunk double vision central.

Out of interest I find it funny that Pokemon uses very little 3D. Most of its gameplay they have chosen to not use 3D at all and have only implemented it in the battle section.

I love my 3DS XL, mainly for the screen size. However, my wrists still ache when playing it, I usually knock the volume up or down, *and* I can never keep the screen properly located for the 3D effect for more than 10 seconds at a time...

...but other than that, I really do love it.

Hmmm...you know, by b-day is coming up soon...:D

Its the triggers that get me, and of course when a game asks a player to use the circle pad to say navigate and at same time use touchscreen for something else.

Such as one of the pokemon training exercises.

My crippling left handedness just can not cope. Holding the stylus in my right hand is not comfortable in the slightest.

Add fact circle pad doesn't work with all games so even adding that awful extra weight to the game doesn't solve some of the issues I have.

And likewise for me - keeping your head straight and body rigid so that you do not lose that elusive sweet spot further enhances the general frustration of using the device.

That explains a lot! :p

For me that is the greatest problem...how am I supposed to play Mario Kart sitting perfectly still?

Yes, I know I have the coordination of the proverbial "palsied grandmother," but c'mon, when I'm ducking around banana peels and oil slicks, ramming into other carts, and getting ready to launch my red shells--I'm supposed to holding the darn 3DS perfectly still?

It just ain't gonna happen...
