"Miyamoto said that the original plan was to "essentially create new variations of the worlds in Super Mario Galaxy." But, over time, the developers have had so many ideas that Miyamoto estimates that 90% of the game's levels are all new. The rest, he said, are levels from the original Mario Galaxy with different objectives."

I'll buy it anyway, and so will all of you. It's not as if we have THAT MANY GREAT WII GAMES coming this year.
Oh as for Metroid Other M. Boo!! I do not need a frickin Ninja Gaiden clone on the Wii, especially one that butchers what has been one of the most successful re-imagining of the series as Metroid 1/2/3 have been on GC/Wii.
I just do not get why they are messing with a critically acclaimed formulae and turning into 'yet another GOfW/Ninja Gaiden slasher'.
Too me it screams 'bad move'....

Other than GT PSP what is coming this year? And everyone will buy it because it's a sequel to Mario friggin Galaxy!

Yeah it does indeed..... I'm not sure after finishing BioShock if I want to play through the same thing again. It's alright saying 'new plasmids' but you only end up using 2 or three anyway. Just not convinced right now that I want this.
And yeah, everything seemingly is 2010 on ALL consoles. Frig them all.
Had the same feeling about that game, but you need to know it isn't developed by the developers of bioshock. They are working on another game (not announced what), that i'm looking forward for.

Well NSMBWii still looks good and Red Steel is looking up to par as well. 2010 looks to be a good year for the big N(game wise)

Not only will it include recycled levels from SMG, it won't have much of a story either.
"Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto has said that, despite the love fans had for the first game's plot (centred around Rosalina and the adorable Lumas), "I'd like to go with as little story as possible...I've always felt that the Mario games themselves aren't particularly suited to having a very heavy story."
All well and good, except Miyamoto doesn't have as direct a role in the series as he once did. Instead, the job of creating these big Mario games now lies with Yoshiaki Koizumi, who is at odds with his mentor's stance on plot.
"Mr. Koizumi is the type of person who, whenever we're working on a new Mario game, he always wants to bring more story elements into it, as he did with Super Mario Galaxy" Miyamoto says. "But in talking with him this time, he agrees and feels that with Galaxy 2, there won't be a need for as deep of a story"."
