Just finished migrating over from an early 2013 MP Pro to the new Pro 16. Frankly, the time machine option over my network from a server backup could've been better. No ability to copy from an extended journaled system to the new filesystem APFS?

Then I go to install Adobe creative suite and I find I can't install on APFS case sensitive. What is Apple playing at here? The experience migrating to this new Mac is enough to make me want to pack it up and return it. Disappointing at best coming from the innovators at Apple.

Adobe CS6 does support APFS case sensitive filesystems according to their support documents. But then again it is a discontinued software and I don't think it supports most recent versions of Mac OS. Not sure why your criticism is targeted on Apple and not on Adobe. My suggestion would be to upgrade to modern software.

Don't use case-sensitive APFS. It's going to end up being a continual hassle with software issues.

Adobe is making it hard to avoid subscription-only CC - but CS6 is 2012 software. This is not Apple's fault that software approaching its 8th birthday won't run - it's Adobe's that they moved to an unpopular subscription model. Can we change the thread title to no 8 YEAR OLD Adobe? CC runs fine...
