Well usually they prep their apps for the launch of the phone. I am afraid because apple said, "your apps scale up perfectly to the new phones, so you don't even have to change them!" I just don't hope they are getting the impression that they don't need to upscale their apps for the new phones.

I guess I'm just being impatient

The screen sizes and resolutions have been known for a little over a week. Anyone who thinks developers can update their applications for two new screen sizes in a little over a week has never written a line of code before.

Pretty sure it took a while for most apps to be updated for the iPhone 4 back in the day - and back then Apps looked much worse than they do now.

I can deal with the upscaling for now but there are some apps that just aren't working right on the 6 Plus. I think the FB comes to mind when trying to post pictures from it. Also, Plants vs. Zombies 2 keeps crashing on mine.

I suspect a flood of updates coming in the next couple of weeks. I do remember it took some apps a very long time to adjust to the iPhone 5 screen.

Companies are watching their apps closely. They will notice and fix it.

Its been but only a day...Don't rush perfection...I would rather wait for it to be done correctly opposed to rushed to meet the launch of the device.

Agreed. I would rather developers take their time and get it right instead of putting out a buggy update.

I was going to post a new thread about how I haven't noticed any new apps being optimized for the iPhone 6.

Although I know it takes time, and patience is required, I kinda had a little thought in the back of my head that after the weekend was over there would be a little surge in optimized apps, but, unless I just have the apps that aren't being optimized, this didn't happen.

I can't wait until Tweetbot 3.5 and I really can't wait until Instagram updates their apps. I use those apps (and AlienBlue, but they came through) the most.

I know there are bigger problems, and I am thrilled I even got my iPhone 6 the day of the release! Just felt like I could whine a bit here :p

Patience. It's not like righting a post. Coding takes time and testing
