sucks but watches dont seem to go on sale that quick compared to iPads and Macs

Makes me feel a little better about buying my s4 for full retail launch weekend

Maybe margins are less too?

More specifically, the stainless models are rarely on sale, it’s typically the aluminum. It still seems in my area, the Series 4 are still fairly limited (Both Apple stores and retailers). I suspect once Apple reaches past the fourth quarter and after the holidays subside, stock will be on the rise.

What’s interesting though, it was rumored Apple was adding a second watch supplier due to the demand, if they did, it’s either taking longer to meet the demand or that rumor was totally bogus.

That will add funds to your appleID. For use on the App Store, for subscriptions to iCloud or music or whatever.

That isn’t money on your ApplePay Cash account or the Apple store. It can’t be used for hardware.

Thanks for the clarification and apologies for the slow reply. Tis the season...

Yep, surprising. I’ve been waiting for a deal on the 44mm Nike series but even availability has still been spotty.

I do not understand why people feel so entitled to get a deal on every single product they wish/want/would like to purchase. I consider myself to be an early adopter/early majority and I do not mind paying [close to] full price; and I do understand not everyone is wired the same way. However, waiting for 8 months to save $50 on a product is 20 cents a day. What are some other ways of saving 20 cents a day? Think coffee/bar/restaurant tips, or the change that you leave behind here and there. At that point, knowing the Apple product cycle, you'd be about four months away from a new product release. Then you will complain about how you just dropped so much money on a "new to you" product and criticize Apple for releasing a new product - it's just an endless cycle that we get to see here on a daily basis.

That’s why I don’t wait when I’m ready to upgrade. These products have a point in the future when they will become obsolete. If you wait for a price drop you end up paying for it by missing out in some of the useful life of that product. If I just happen to score a deal that’s great, and if I’m ready to upgrade close to a sale date like Cyber-Monday I will wait just to see if there are deals to be had, but I would not wait months for one if I’m in need of an upgrade.
