yeah you maybe right, we only "just" went into almost full lockdown in the UK from last night, and pictures of London tubes still being full make me wonder if there is still more demand to come.
The underground is full because the number of trains has been reduced - which is an idiotic move. Would be much better to run the trains half empty or three quarters empty.

I saw 2 busses with people on them (1 and 2, respectively) on Saturday. Aside from those two, all busses were empty all week here in Belgium. Normal service, though. But our bus company is famous for losing money faster than their busses drive.

Same thing here. We usually have loads of private buses shuttling people from the suburbs to the Silicon Valley. Starting with the first day of the shelter-in-place order these buses have been near empty. And lately I have noticed you do not see any buses.

So people are cramming onto trains, do they really not understand how easily this virus passes onto others?

My local transit did the same thing, in the name of safety, they curtailed the number of trains, only to be publically shamed in how can we achieve social distancing when the platforms and trains are packed (because of less running trains). They reversed course and the following day the trains were running normally (and a lot more empty)

For any that are interested, Microcenter has the base 16 inch model for $400 off this week. As I originally posted, I knew the discounts would come eventually.

Some things are in higher demand and some in lower demand. PTON is doing quite well and I'm thinking of buying a Keiser m3i. I can't go to the gym and the weather stinks so running outside is hit or miss. So people are buying indoor gym equipment. I've heard that it's hard to find barbell sets.

I had a look at Dell QHD and 4K monitors. They're up 33% from a few months ago and several models are unavailable.

MacBook Pros help you to work from home so I'd assume that there's pretty good demand for them.

It's not quite to the level of toilet paper but yeah. Go Apple!
