Elevation working for too me too, but off by about 200m or so. Normally at around 60m but showing 290m really odd.

The barometric altimeter needs to calibrate against GPS elevation. As GPS reception is often poor inside or between buildings, it is not surprising you will get wacky or no elevation readings if inside for long periods of time, especially if the barometric pressure changes due to weather.
It would be more meaningful to try it outdoors, or at least not be inside for a long stretch.

Dang! Woke up today, all fine. Elevation working great.

Did an outdoor walk and now my 96m elevation is now 286m.

Perform a reboot and now back to ---

EDIT: And now back to correct elevation. For now

I had this on my S6 7.01 in the UK though it never worked for me from the outset with just - - - shown, reboots etc didn’t fix.

I upgraded to the 7.1 beta last night for a test and has been fine since. Consistently showing 47-49m for my elevation both yesterday and today.

Definitely looking like a software issue at the moment, but guess time will tell

Even though it’s still working for me I’m getting some ridiculous readings in my fitness app for elevations after a workout (walk). The max is logged as 824ft but it would be no more than 300. The low figure is fine. And it shows the elevation gain as 0 but I’m guessing that’s wrong and certainly ain’t the same in the same walk in older workouts.

I'm having this issue on and off as well. I can't do anything to force it to start working; restarts, hard restarts, and unpairing don't affect it. It just randomly comes and goes. Just started noticing this too within the last month or so. It was working fine before because I would always get elevation readings on my outdoor runs.
