mine says preparing to ship and i found my phone was in lap kok hong kong today by using the first 8 of my order # at ups reference tracking

i bet it works for you

I had to track mine by reference. If I look at the order status it still says preparing to ship. Mine was last in Alaska and departed last night.

I tried searching by reference on the UPS store using the confirmation number (minus the last two digits) and it worked. My phone departed Chek Lap Kok, HK around 11 PM local time (11 AM my time).
