Apple has largely focused on its iToys line up for this year. While not surprising, it is disappointing. Given that we're now in September, I don't think we'll be seeing any iLife update in 2010
 
Does Apple sell upgrades between iLife releases? I'd buy it now if I could get '11 for around $30.

They've been doing that for a while now, I think it's since the iPhone came out really, and it started the whole mobile/tablet thing that all the other manufacturers have done since.
 
Also the packaging is exactly the same as iLife 09. Apple will change it for 2011. If there is a 2011 iLife.
