No Itunes 12.2 - No Apple Music or Streaming

I don't get it. Why would you not release Itunes 12.2 the same day? That means no streaming on the desktop which means no canceling spotify. Hope it happens before the 3 month trial is up.

Any one have any idea when its coming? Yes I know "This Fall"

Am I missing something, or is there no way currently to use Apple Music service with desktop iTunes?

If so, I can't believe Apple would hype this launch date for weeks and neglect to make iTunes compatible.

A lot of us interested in this service have desktop DAC systems based around iTunes - at home and at the office.

It is very frustrating that the launch appears to be iOS only for now, and I won't even bother bringing out my earbuds to evaluate while at work - definitely a bad experience for me so far.

I guess I will have to try it through the Apple TV or AirPlay when I get home tonight.
