If I really grip the phone awkwardly, covering the black antenna slots, then the service bars drop after a few seconds. But honestly, who holds their phone like that? Pretty much a non-issue for me.

I was in a classroom and I was playing around with the iPhone - definitely noticed the lowering of signal when I was surfing the net in my left hand. But now - here I am at home - trying to reproduce it and I can't.

I think that all iPhone 4s have the issue, but it is mainly dependent on the service in a particular location. I'll keep testing it at different places to see if I notice any differences...

Overall though - this is one cool little device, no?

Yep I'm loving it enough to forgive that one flaw (I'd find it pretty perfect if it weren't for that. But then again, you'll always find something disappointing about something. What matters is how much that disappointing factor really affects you ;) ). And honestly, so far I have yet to see it actually affect me when I'm not looking to try to replicate it.

Just was playing with iMovie (still kinda confused on how to use it but I'll figure it out). And I *LOVE* iBooks (except prices. They want almost double the price of a book I have in softback. Kindle has it for 5 bux cheaper but I like iBooks interface a lot better... what a conundrum. Particularly when I feel bad buying it since I own the paper version but would love an ebook version). And sorry, Steve Jobs, but now that there is iBooks on the iphone, I have no reason I'd even want an iPad (wasn't that interested in one but saw the iBooks and really liked it). Between my laptop and my iphone, the ipad is too much in the middle and does neither thing I like about my laptop or iphone as well.

I bet other phones have the same phenomenon n nobody notices or says anything or it's just a few people have an issue based on their reception area and everyone else claims the same issue. Kinda like when someone swears their sick when someone else is too cause they have the same symptoms.
