I'm in Sherman Oaks, and there's no LTE coverage here. I've had LTE when I've gone to the West side and Beverly Hills, and also in Pasadena.

4G coverage is plenty fast for me (and less of a battery hog), plus I'm in wifi most of the day anyway.

I blame Carmageddon II.

What exactly did they change? I've spoken with Tech Support twice now and they have no clue. In fact they confirmed that I am in the LTE area and are perplexed as to why I'm not getting LTE.

They had to reset my data plan and reset my registration on the network.

No LTE in San Fernando Valley

i live around northridge area im with AT&T and ive been told that there is no LTE coverage in the valley lol. thank god im paying for the unlimited plan still (grandfathered) or else i would be pissed. When i leave the valley though and go to downtown i have LTE there so im 100% sure.

AT&T LTE coverage ends in LA around the Getty center. I heard we won't be getting a LTE rollout west to the valley area until late next year. Which is total BS! Verizon has had LTE coverage out here for well over a year.

I spoke to a rep that said "There's a tower planned to bring LTE to Studio City by the end of the year". Not sure if they were just saying that since I mentioned switching to Verizon, or if there actually is one planned. Plus, would "a tower" meet the needs for the area or does it require multiple towers?

And now an online chat with tech support said "We plan to have LTE rolled out in your area by the end of the first quarter 2013."

I'm also in studio city with 4g only. I called AT&T to ask about LTE here and she said there was no eta for it. I hope it comes soon!
